my initial pitch for Evanescence was that Del (my dumb dragon) inspired by another jackal wizard character she knew, wanted to make a D&D character inspired by her

thus she drew Evanescence Shinespark Blighttown, a wizard who was raised by Keanu Reaves and trained by Dracula at the Floorskip Arcane Academy for the gifted. like all wizards, she uses prestidigitation instead of bathing, and doesn't know how to talk to boys

this is all basically still canon even though Eva has escaped Del's imagination
