Just a bit of a fan art of Avatar: The Last Airbender, but drawn as a bear-man in my artstyle.
I dressed up this panda elementalist as a Foggy Swamp Tribesman, but also an Avatar, because I found it strange
that they had no representation whenever the current Avatar sought counsel from their previous lives. Or maybe
I was squinting hard enough at all the background avatar characters?
I'm also wondering if it should've been a polar bear instead of a panda, since the Foggy Swamp Tribe is a splinter of
the Southern Water Tribe, which is also a splinter of the Northern Tribe. Then there were the 1st waterbenders from
Lion Turtles...
I also didn't put the leaf hat (which resemble the Japanese Amigasa hats).
The Foggy Swamp Tribe, their clothing, particularly their loincloth and some ornaments,
resemble that of the Dayak or Penan tribes of Brunei.

Perhaps... But to be fair, the Foggy Swamp Tribe isn't really in the arctic parts of the Avatar world. So it could go either way, maybe even a grizzly bear.
Also, I'm sure he wouldn't have been able to keep his hat on in the avatar state anyway. X)
