.. is that a Dingo?

She definitely looks it, doesn't she? She happened to show up to my house as a stray and we adopted her. Being that dingoes are a bit of a rarity in the States we had to rule it out despite the resemblance. It turns out that there was an individual in a neighboring area that was breeding coyote half-breeds, so we went with that as our most logical option.

She really was..... I miss her a lot.

*smiles a little* She was truly one of a kind. She was my best friend you see. Whenever I'd leave the house, no matter where she was, she'd track me down. If I jogged she'd always jog just one step ahead of me. She loved attention, especially belly rubs. The funny thing is that when she first appeared I was terrified of her..... Shortly after we adopted her, I was out playing with her and I tripped and fell. Without missing a beat she turned around and ran over me, hitting me in the head with her paw. When I tried to get back up, she had already doubled back and hit me again. We kept up this little "boxing match" for a few minutes before she ran off. *feels warmth fill my face* For some reason that always stuck with me.

Yeah, I suppose it is! I guess basing my sona around her was kind of my way of keeping her with me, you know?

I know what you mean, man. Dogs are truly the best. My girl's 10 years old and I can say with confidence she's one of the best friends I've ever had. Quite the opposite of a dingo though - a "fearsome" golden retriever xD
