wow! have you considered selling that to a gem store? I hear Garnet in its natural look is worth some money.

*faints* seriously you have no idea how much jealousy i have at this moment. NO IDEA AT ALL!! I'm a rock nut and tend to just grab whatever looks pretty and catches my eye. one of my proudest pieces in my collection is a genuine therapy stone. its a odd piece. it has a magnetic field and what appears the be the indentation left by a left index finger.

Sadly I dun have half of what I used to. Back in elementary school my mom was the head of the gem n' mineral club. We had a whole hallway lined with museum-grade specimens that were donated, an' a roomful of ones there weren't any room for. Eventually I got to keep a few boxes since they were just gathering dust...

But they got packed an' put into storage in my uncle's basement when we moved to Florida.
