I know that stone from previous encounters thats Selenite. It doesn't have the blue hue that Celestite typically has in a geode setting.

There's no way to tell for sure, though, without an acid test.

aye true there. or a spectrogram. which i think would be easier if they didn't cost so much money!!! ....you know...you should try using a pendulum dowsing tool. learn how to get a yes or no. trust me on this. if the great Abbe Mermet could discern peoples locations with a map and pendulum alone you can identify rocks.
