I wanted to show off what I just finished making. A friend of mine sold me an ACOG scope, so I offered to build him a rifle. When I asked what he wanted, he said, "something that looks like an M-4."

So, this is the M4gery, a rifle built from gunshow scraps, odds and ends from my parts cases, and a few other things I managed to dig up. I paid 50 for the lower, and the luckiest break was finding a bolt that headspaced to an old DPMS 16- incher. The handguards are so cheap they dont even have metal liners in them, and the flash suppressor, pistol grip, stock, sling, and port cover were free.

The barrel was the most expensive part, at 150 and some bartering. He got a new one, and I am pretty sure the upper was never fired.
