It all fits together a bit haphazardly at the moment to be honest. I'm considering using resin and dowels drilled into the inner sides of the limbs to hold them in place permanently, which is something I've done on other stuff in the past, but for now they're all held with a reversible starch paste glue! The head just balances on top; If I cemented it firmly and the piece was rotated at all its own weight would risk cracking the stone, so I kinda have to leave it unattached.
