This was my entry for this month's (June's) Conbadges exchange, for Kitsune Jess.
This was my first FULLY traditional .. thing ever, really. I did it on an index card as it seems a perfect size for conbadges.
Anyway, now I understand why artists complain about scanners eating traditional colour. The colours are much smoother in real life, ESPECIALLY the red on her top. MUCH smoother in person. *stares at her hard copy of the badge* Regardless, I know it's not that good overall, especially compared to my digital stuff. But that's what practice is for, right?
Sketched with a 0.5 mechanical pencil, inked with Copic multiliners (also did the black border with them), and coloured with coloured pencils.
Still waiting back to hear if she even likes it or not..
