Many details of the story remained hidden from the public like the vampire lair found in the basement, the inexplicable nature of the injuries in the vampire's bodies or the fact that these became dust after they were touched by the sun the next morning.
Of course with such a scandalous story, leaks through hearsay were impossible to avoid, giving birth to many new urban legends.
