The tension is cut between the two through a rather puzzling question. Stibbs stands in awe as he finds himself not immediately eviscerated as expected. The towering black and white cat before him appears more curious of his presence. A recollection dawns on the mouse. This is the cat from before. Who drew the razorblade to his own wrist. Whom he shouted at frightfully to stop.
