"In the bleak mid winter"

Its interesting in several ways
In some ways it would suggest ground is expensive , really close up buildings and rather high build with three stories but the long bare ground kinda says otherwise .
With driveways i would expect more like carports , open or fully enclosed .

Also feels extra depressing with the lack of colors used .
We have some swedish build holiday houses here that are also fully wood but folks here used more colors .
You know blue , yellow and red , gives it a bit more joy to look at .
