The one I got is called a xencelabs pen tablet medium. Its a screenless tablet and I have grown to prefer them. I have used tablets with a screen and they are very nice but I hated how I needed to hunch over them and my back would hurt after some time so the screenless tablet allows me to sit in my chair properly.
Ya that is one of the advantages, being able to sit up or sit back and not having to look down and shrimp over the tablet screen.
Though personally I never really like the disconnect of not looking at what I was drawing on. But they are alot cheaper then monitor tablets too, which is a plus.
