Servali generally do not get along well with humans. Their brief history with humans is scarred with war, oppression, and slavery. Even on a genetic level, the differences are great. Humans are ambitious, corruptible, and have constantly changing cultures, while Servali were bred to have their psychology lead to modest, stable, and even intentionally stagnant societies. Humans tend towards large and eventually corrupt societies and organizations that rise and fall, and often exploit Servali or force them out of lands. Servali, however, are no strangers to violence, and resentment often boils over into fighting.

You take a gamble and try to trade your wares in Servali territory. You barely make it a mile in before a border guard intercepts you, ordering you to leave. You can tell he despises you, but thankfully Servali value discipline and respect, which is why he issues a warning instead of immediately attacking. It would be wise to cut your losses and leave.
