Well it is kind of underwhelming IMO but that was the problem i had from the start- one artwork would not make it justice. For that and the real event i made one for each day this year ^^. But then again Balto did not do it for glory: he did it to save Rosy. I think he would be ok with it ^^

You are welcome. And you are not alone. In my country Balto was realised in the end of 90s and directly to VHS as well. I would love to watch this film in the cinema. Maybe if you would be interested, this is my Balto VHS tape which was made in 2001 in Moscow in the rare for US slip-sleeve box.

I can agree with you. But I am also still admiring how beautiful artists-animators were able to make a graphics for Balto, especially with a not a very big budget. I think Balto deserves more attention.

Same here in Sweden. For me it has Christmas feeling and my birthday is in December so i watch it on that day every year ^^. Thank you ^^.
I saw the trailer on one of the Land before time sequels and thought it was a kid friendly adaptation of Call of the wild or White Fang, i was obsesses by books about sleddogs so i was so happy. I saved money and got it as soon as it hit the shelf on VHS (sadly did not get a theatrical release here) and went home and watched it. My life was never the same. I also got to know about the wonderful real event behind the movie.
