The final installment of Flashback to 1987, an extended play that I put together to represent the seasons of the year 1987. I retooled my previous track "Stargazing in the Valley of Tranquility", adding footstep sound effects, and the shared musical motif heard in the other tracks in this EP.

The song is intended to give visuals of traversing through a snowfield just before dawn, all bundled up as a beautiful aurora looms overhead.

I used software synthesizers that emulate the following:
- Oberheim OB-Xa (1981) - synth pads, panning synth lead, random arpeggiated plucks, synthesized wind
- Oberheim Eight Voice System (1975) - additional synth pads
- Roland VP-330 (1979) - string ensemble/synth voice)
- Yamaha DX7 II (1986) - "TUB ERUPT" preset
