So I made a bunch of tweaks to the fur design of the all-black wolf because the art wasn't turning out quite how I'd hoped. I've seen some great art of all-black wolves but they do tend to lack visual identity in most cases, so I wanted to push more towards a more, well, also natural but a bit more unusual black and cream mix. These don't show up too often in wild wolf photography but they look pretty striking in their own way when they do. His shade of black also is a bit more brown saturated too, the tones overall indicate a really warm looking kind of wolf despite black's inherent coolness.

Can I promise that this is the one? I'm certainly happy with it, I usually am, but time will tell. The upcoming art he's in definitely boosted how I feel when directly compared to the all-black version.
