Even during the holiday season, one needs to be careful where they wander, as the lovely Verosika Mayday seems to be learning, yet again, as she takes the wrong shortcut on her way back from some shopping at the mall. ~^

So, my adoration for Verosika is well known by now, and I keep an eye on the Shark Robot merch store for the show, where it seems every time they add new merch we see Verosika in a new outfit. This year her winter shopping outfit was quite simply too cute to pass up on getting a picture of, and Toughset has done a devilishly good job of showing it off here. <3

She always looks incredible in Toughset’s style, and in his quicksand. The depth and posing is really fun, holding up her shopping bags, with one leg pushing forward gives the impression that she was walking along and then just started sinking, and her surprised expression really compliments that with her tightly pursed lips, and wide eyes with tiny pupils, I’d say not just surprised, but at the moment of realizing what is going on. I love her winter outfit, it is just so cute, that comfy-looking patterned sweater that really hugs her ample curves, with a lovely cleavage window, the striped legging are a nice touch, as are the bows and ribbons on her neck and hair bun, that long scarf that drapes over arms and dangles behind her atop the sands, and those adorable heart-glasses. Her long hair is always lovely, especially as it trails behind her atop the quicksand, and I love that little hair bun on hers is such a cute little touch, and that little bit of her tail seen off to the side is always nice to see. The quicksand looks really nice, very thick and gooey, I love how it mounds up around her thighs, giving the feeling that she is trying to push through it and keep walking, while her hair and scarf trailing on the surface behind her really speak of how thick it is, while the snowy edges give the impress that it might have been covered over by the snow. The background really is great, the mall in the distance behind her, the wintery woods around her, and I love the footprints in the snow behind her, a really nice touch, and together it all tells a great story of her taking a shortcut through the woods after shopping and stumbling into quicksand hidden under the snow. I’d say this shortcut is taking her in a different direction than she intended, and her holiday spirit is descending fast. ~^
