Newzman is a dreamer NPC who is the main news anchor of the board world in chapter 3. He appears spontaneously as part of kelapa's cast, and also appears as a "rival" tryin' to summon enemy dreamers or other things. He sometimes says he's havin' a bad day working with kelapa. In "the land of nothing," he appears sayin' goodbye to kelapa, sayin' he'll miss her. at the chapter 4 in funky town, he appears repairin' kelapa, while some sastiyatsas nurses help her. apparently, he says he was so worried 'bout Kelapa that he'll try his best to improve with her. later in chapter 4, kelapa is seen with others from her cast, tellin' them she's happy to at least survive the assassination attempt by the knightmare. He is a dreamer with white skin, similar to a newspaper or a puppet, with bulgin' eyes, no nose, a red suit with buttons, and long arms. they can move like a wire puppet or a muppet, and he don't have legs or feet, which means he need help from other dreamers in the cast.
In the frozen route, they won't appear, possibly to prevent nano from freezin' him. before hambo and kalligo enter the dream world. newzman was someone without much experience in any trade, other than talkin' 'bout himself as a big shot, according to his own words. at that time, he didn't seem to have any friends or acquaintances. however, once kelapa contacted him, she asked if he would be interested in joinin' her cast as a news anchor, which newzman immediately accepted. he helped kelapa with most of the news stories that occurred in the dream world. however, newzman noticed that kelapa was gradually losin' her grip on reality, so he tried to cheer her up, sayin' that everything would be alright if she trusted herself.
