He is a frightening skull headed entity that takes many forms. He preys on loneliness and paranoia. He leads a group of weaker lords of night to feed as a pack. He and his pack are currently trapped in a prison of their own making. Centuries ago the members of the pack removed one of their bones each and gave them to a dangerous warlock who passed them onto his children. They were sealed away to prevent them from feeding on mortals with the help of the Golden Lord.

In modern day he uses his 14 servants, the Black Guard, to spread fear and harvest souls. They were originally a board of directors for a shady company. All of them had truly corrupted souls. They are led by the Temptress (Accepted the blessing with open arms, can summon weapons and shadow walk), the Risen (was destroyed by the Red Lord then brought back by the Black Lord. Has pyrokinetic powers and regenerative properties) and the Large Man (can push weak willed people to do his bidding).
