Circling back to the story.
The kingdom the Giant's landed in, was very fast to strike a deal for safety.
The giants hadnt stomped on this land in a very long time.
Their maps were so outdated it had ancient kingdoms that have been gone for thousands of years.
Ancient rivers and lakes that have been long gone.
The giants at a disadvantage with no information on this new surface world.
So the deal between this landed on Kingdom & the Giants was simple.
New information on this new world, & they would be spared.
They essentially sold out their world, & neighboring kingdoms.
To be eaten.
While they would be safe, sealed up and kept in a massive paddock.
While giants reclaimed the world.

Oh! Had this vision of this two cell image, the top a high angle view of this paddock enclosed by a drystone wall, one of a patchwork of other, similar paddocks/fields, though these ones with giant scale crops & animals instead. Country lanes run along the outside of these walls, converging toward a gigantic palace & city in the distance, beanstalks still dotting the landscape. The bottom cell from inside the paddock, the wall reaching high into the air like a cliff, but a giant wagon laden with stacked cages crammed full of livestock~ still reaches above the top on the otherside. "Small" scale trees & shrubs grow about the place, some in cracks in the stones of the wall. A crumbling watch tower of the kingdom within lists to the side, showing signs of the events that forced this kingdom to the "negotiating table", two "tiny" peasants adorned in rags look up at the passing sight.
