When he turned gray of old age, Goran thought back of his little sister and younger brother who passed away long before it was his time…Stígana and Stian are drawn at the age they died…

This instrumental song of Sonata Arctica represents the mostly hidden, warm and soft side of him. He actually has a warm and good heart, but his nonchalant attitude and hard, tough look overshadow that most of the time.
Goran is the first born of the three siblings and the only one who actually reaches very old age.
When I made this drawing, I had also been working on a sketchdump of him and in one sketch he was really old (close to 130 – which is nearly 100 in human years)…Then I started to see things through his eyes... and hit me quite hard when I realised that he was the first to come and the last to leave of his siblings.. It really did something to me to see Goran who had always been so strong and healty nad tough, in such an old and fragile state.
