Dog days of Winter(I don't know only title I could think of)

Just a typical day for Todd I guess.
It was a chilly December morning as Todd Baker awoke, still a bit groggy from last night's party.
He was the eldest son of Stanley Baker, the wealthiest man in town. This meant attending fancy parties he'd rather avoid, going on business trips that didn't properly concern him, and on occasion going to check on some of his father's ventures across the country. He had to juggle this with his own repair shop, and if he was lucky, his social life.
Believing he was doing the right thing, his father hired a bodyguard to keep him safe through all the running around. Her name was Darlene Kuscheln, a tough looking German Doberman he had met overseas last year.
Todd didn't really believe he needed a bodyguard, but his father already moved her to town and paid her at least two years in advance so it wasn't like he could refuse.
The little corgi gentleman stretched under his covers before rolling over and coming cold nose to cold nose with her.
Despite the two of them living together he had never found her in his bed before. He didn't exactly remember getting home last night, nor how he wound up in bed with his bodyguard. Darlene's ear twitched as her eyes began to open slowly. She yawned. "Guten Morgen, kleiner Mann. Sorry, good morning Mr. Baker..." She chuckled. "Some party last night, yes?"
Todd blinked a few times working off his groggy state: "G-good morning Ms. Kuscheln. I uh... I'd say it was. H-how's it going?"
Darlene sat up and stretched, yawning as she slipped out of bed. "Going well sir. Should we get started for the day? Do forgive me for crawling into bed with you, just figured I'd guard you from the cold." She snickered.
He rolled out, missed the rug and landed face first on the floor. "Yeah, let's do that. I've got a few appointments to go and fix-"
Darlene interrupted: "Mrs. Agapov's water heater, the freezer at the diner, and the heating system at the Catholic church. Your secretary Jackie already texted me the list."
Todd blinked a few times and said: "I don't know why she doesn't just send it to me, I'm not helpless."
Darlene cocked her head and replied: "Mr. Baker, no one said you were helpless. She just sent it to me because she knows I'm good at keeping track of things."
He sighed, wondering when it was his life had become a checklist for others to manage rather than something he had any control over. First a bodyguard he hadn't asked for, and now he can't even take care of his own appointments.
He muttered something under his breath before getting up and taking care of a few morning chores to get himself ready for the day.
After stepping out of the bathroom he saw Darlene standing there without her panties on. Had this of been anyone else he wouldn't think a thing of it. But in all the time he'd known her she always wore a pair. Her docked tail was wagging when she saw him, also out of character. Todd: "What is she up to?" He said walking over to her.
Darlene: "Well I just figured if everyone else here goes around in the buff, why shouldn't I?" She then got on her knees, looking up into her boss's eyes while straightening his collar. "Can't have you going out looking shabby now can I?" The two lingered there a moment, perhaps a bit longer than either had intended before she stood back up with a slight blush under her fur.
Todd: "T-thank you Darlene." He said trying to remain professional.
She replied back: "Wir sollten jetzt losgehen, oder? Du darfst nicht zu spät zur Arbeit kommen."
Todd nodded in agreement before the two dashed out the door and to Todd's car. Starting the week off right down at his repair shop.

very jovial, very nice. it sounds like a typical day for many folk lol. then again most don't have a nice house where everyone go commando (Referring towards nude) lol this the main reason why i don't go to parties even if i was of the wealthiest family i wouldn't be going and if i were to i would only have water or chardine (or how ever that drink is said) lol. but i always love reading your stories and seeing what todd's next adventure is and seeing what goes on, i do enjoy the step away from the mative stuff as sometimes over mativity for multiple stories back to back (mostly my opinion) can ruin the excitement, so to see todd having a regular work morning after a night of partying adds flavor to the story. i also love how todd missed the rug and landed face first on the floor.
