He'll ask his girlfriend if he can borrow some money. She will poke his nose and tease him for forgetting his wallet then pay for the repair man. Afterwards, when he got his wallet, he'd take her out to dinner and repay her not only with food, but with a trip to the bank to move money into her account. :)
Of course she will! Then she and her spa-going buddies will giggle as they get their nails done. Then she will, of course, go on to tell them all the good things he does so that her friends will not think she's dating someone awful. Although I am sure they all approve anyway. :)
