Been doing a lot of sculpture posts on Patreon, so thought I’d change pace with a digital sketch. While at work, I took a photo with accidentally neat lighting, so I just had to try doing a quick paint/sketch of this Vizsla!
Favorite lighting spots change throughout the year in the yards, so I'm always having moments of "ooh, that looks cool". Tried other dogs in this spot, alas, none of them looked quite as handsome. That solid, midtone color just worked so well. I might be at another job, but you can’t take the artist out of me, still thinking about art! XD
This might be the last art I release for this year, so wishin’ everyone a happy (early) winter solstice!
