I've played up this conceit before but this time I really don't have a story for you. I told you I've been thinking about Zeke. Bill Beagle opened today for artistic freedom sketches, I told him that Zeke's been on my mind lately and this is what he came up with.

For me to spin up a narrative yarn for a decidedly off-the-cuff doodle of a character who's got so little explicit definition to him to begin with would really be pushing things.

...but he does look like he's on a first date here, doesn't he? Who knows if it's going well—he could be either hanging onto someone's every word or politely feigning interest—but either way somebody new has his ear.

Very interesting.
