Context wise, this concept art conveys a scene where Brack's group is stopped by a local Volterran gang for trading salvage on their turf. At first the bandits just want a "cut" of what Brack's group exchanged, but when Brack's group refuses to comply with the bandit's threats the situation escalates into a brawl instead.

Hello. I definitely recognize you, good to see you again.
Doing fine, just trying to finish this project and I'm nearly there, if all goes well we'll be releasing the visual novel on Youtube early next year. Spring at the latest.
Otherwise mostly just been trying to finally get to the end of this thing, I've been wanting to be done for the last 2-3 years now.

oh wow that is cool! Last time we talked, I got one novel done and another on the way to completion, with two more in the works. So I totally understand. Would love to see the visual novel when its done :) always enjoy watching your characters ^w^. inspires me to keep working on my novels.

indeed ^w^! XD hehehehe daum, almost 10 years. man time flys fast. glad yours is almost out :). Thank you ^w^ they are coming out great. hope to have the second novel finish by early next year. then I have to write a prequel and then a 3rd act novel. its alot of work but I am progressing. Dragons in space is such a fun idea not many have done and I hope to write a epic tale.
Indeed, since then I've found that I like making video games (really basic and simple turn based ones with 2D graphics) much more than making videos.
So I'll be switching to that as soon as Nomads is finished. It's also a great way to tell interactive stories by the way.
Check out Twine sometime (it's free by the way), if you ever thought about making any of your stories into a "choose your own adventure" (CYOA) Game.

Indeed, I recognize the icon and username. I'm kinda surprised I still have fans from so many years ago.
It makes me want to finish faster though, as I've been wanting to be done for a while now.
With any luck the visuals, voice acting, and music will all be ready to be released on youtube next year, Spring 2026 at the latest.

Yeah it's weird that this posting summoned two of my fans from WAY back in the day.
White Dragon above you has been a fan of mine since 2016 as well.
I'm looking forward to releasing the final visual novel here soon though, so I can show everyone what I've been working on since forever.
That said, I wish I had focused a bit better and completed this at a more reasonable time frame. Oh well I suppose.
Anyway, thanks for being a fan for so long.

Brack's dry sarcastic humor definitely doesn't help the situation either.
Funny enough I wanted to feature the Volterran (lioness) bandits a bit more, but they were supposed to show up in the later chapters.
But making the first 16 turned into so much more work than I expected that we're only going to see them here. Oh well.
Maybe someday I'll release the full text of the full storyline and people who like the project can read it.
