Having a visual reference can help new players with IRL board games in a big way. This visual reference here takes time to read but I honestly do think is great to read. Games are more than just "do this one thing, another player does one thing". A game that is new can legit be scary or a turn off for people that do not want to play something with more than one/2 pieces to keep track of XD
For me I like playing new games. The first time with a new game is rough, but the second time with more familiarity makes a new game feel more natural and smoother than the first time, making people want to get better at the new game.
