Paladin Altyren, The Blood Knight
"An end to your days...death shall not wait, hatred and anger comes the avenger!"
Sung the fallen Paladin, approaching the old King who cowered behind his throne. Promising him fortune, fame, anything, to avoid the sword of Damocles from taking him.
"Your kingdom doth lie in ruin, castles plundered, dominions burned, all to end the tyranny which you sought to estabalish!"
He snarled, striding forward as tore off his cloak so as not to get in the way. Reaching the old Monarch who called on him to see reason, calls which befell on deaf ears, he raised up his mace
"And on today, the year of our Lord, shall a new life begin where all will be free!"
Cried he, bringing it down upon him to christen said day in fresh sanguine.
