This was a commission for  zeek_hedgehog from 2014. Based on the description of what he wanted (which included a abandoned railroad bridge near where he lived), made me immediately think of the Rob Reiner movie "Stand By Me." (Which he never saw at that time, btw.)

I feel that this makes a fitting tribute.
