Ryoken had already been one of my favorite artists for a long while when I saw him offering inexpensive commissions for cute icons like this, so I pounced at the chance to get even a small thing from an artist I liked so much. After how happy I was with it and how friendly Ryoken was to work with, I got the courage to move on to larger commissions. Inexpensive custom icons/avatars like this make for good 'gateway' commissions that way, I think. And it's cute!!!
