His right eye should probably be lowered a tad! To line up with the other one, and his bone structure, judging by the angle of the snout. (:

heh i totally understand... more of like getting the basic idea down, right? That's good though, rather to get really caught up in anatomy and forget about expression details and what not. glad i could help [:

.. I must admit it's not easy to valutate it, but I'm guessing that it's mostly because I am really not accostumed to see "Sirio" in a realistic contest.
It is promising. :P I would like to ask for 2 things though:
- I don't like how his neck is posed, I would prefer if head and body follow the same direction. Sirio is "evil", but with the head bent so much, he looks like hideous. i guess that since the details of the head, it would be probably better to redraw the visible portion of the body instead?..
- Remember Sirio has white fur.. But maybe it's easier to paint white on a darker hue?

*laughs* yes plus the lacking shades and misplaced eye, that makes it very difficult to judge D: I changed direction of the neck making it more completed and in direction a feral wolf would have. I sized down the eye too getting rid of the "I am maaaad" look xD
I will render a part of his fur completely so you can see how it look finished with all fur layers. If it still is too dark I can change it with hue-correction :)
