All this obvious Secret of NIMH inspiration is even funnier when I remember how similar Balto 2 and The Secret of NIMH really are, with Nava and Niju being almost the exact same characters as Nicodemus and Jenner lol

Actually, Balto 2 shares many similarities with Brother Bear. Both movies have spiritual themes, Native American culture, and a journey about self discovery full of spirit guides, mystic visuals, beautiful songs, etc. Even the hunter looks like a descendant of Denahi!
