Madkat was originally a jester from the medieval ages when was imprisoned after he went mad when a new jester took his job. The madness persisted after death and his spirit possessed a Kat in the box (jack in the box).

Centuries later, the kat in the box was sound in an antic shop by Lenny Ringtail, a failed comedian who was placed in an asylum after he went mad when David litterbin was picked to host his own show. Once he escaped, he hid in the antic shop and bonded with the spirit, turning into Madkat. They attempted to get their revenge by capturing figures representing the King, Queen, Knight, and Jester and sealing them within the box. Madkat possessed unique powers, such as teleportation, shapeshifting, and summoning odd weapons such as razor sharp playing cards. He was ultimately defeated by the SWAT Kats after they cut off the bells on his cap, separating Ringtail and Madkat.

In my fan work, Madkat is able to influence anyone who despair and anger in their soul, convincing them to seek 'revenge' and bonding with him.

There aren't that many pics of him and I can easily say this is the best version I've ever seen. Totally does Madkat justice. And he looks great with those big muscles in that skin tight suit. :)
