This dumb little RP Character almost lead me to starting a Mass Effect fanfic back in the day, Stev's Starlit Cruise or something. Ask https://www.furaffinity.net/user/hwpd , I dont remember it all.
If I ever get inspired, maybe I'll do something with them, though I HAVE reused the name for a Skylark Agent in Thunderheart. Another great character but you know... What a throwback, man. Wild shit... Fucking shock rock Turian.

So here it is... my first ever turian...
Rhannie. (As cliche as he is, being an RP character of mine)
Orphaned at a young age (Age 5) due to his psychotic father who killed the entire family except for the boy. He was always a very closed up and silent kid. He was adopted quickly by a Krogan and his Human wife who fell in love with him instantly despite his very quiet statue and all of his lovely scars from past beatings. Long story short, his adopted mother had collections of old 1900-2000 heavy metal and he essentially absorbed it and embraced it for most of his childhood.
At the age of 10 he was given a shitty little electric guitar in which he devoted all of his time too as he learned how to play all of the music he had clung too so tightly. At the age of 14, he had become very well versed in the way of the 6 string where he would sail through even the more complex songs of his liking flawlessly. At age 15, he found a voice within himself and started a 'shitty noise-making excuse' for a cover band with a very few friends that did nothing but cover Slipknot and Mudvayne songs. After two years and several line up changes, his 'kid' band evolved into New Age of Slaughter; a full fledged band. While they quickly got rights to legally play and record old songs from the history of Heavy Metal, Rhannie was quick to powerhouse out new material for the band at a speed that was nearly as fast as they could record.
N.A.S.'s sound and style follow closely with acts of Exodus, Generation Kill, Slayer, and Testament. While there are hints of Nu Metal within their sound, they keep it mainly within the hardcore thrash metal genre. They released their first album 'Resurfaced' was released in April of 2180. The album featured very little new material (Ie: 2 of the 34 songs on the album) but instead official covered of the likes of Exodus, Lamb of God, and other bands within that spectrum. Their music was taken as strongly offensive to the majority of the public due to their very abrasive attitude and imagery. Despite the bad ratings and criticism, the band only flourished onward and upward with their cult following. Some critics have come out to argue in their defense that they are close to a 'breaking point' and that they are just a few moves away from being 'the next big thing.'
Vocals and lead guitar of N.A.S. are covered by Rhannie; the drums are covered by his long time Human friend, Mitch; and the Bass guitar is covered mainly by Dreak, a Krogan youth who they snatched up from Omega on a system wide tour early on.
Rhannie isnt all that big, even at his adult height he is only about 5'9; this may have been attributed to stunted growth from his father's abusive nature to him as a small child. He keeps a nice balanced build through his career and is a still quite the introvert. While he is more social now, he finds greater pleasure in scaring people rather than befriending them. He is hopelessly looking for some sort of intimate partner that suites his fancy AND can deal with his occasional-but-brief mental breakdowns that he has from time to time (And someone who could also, as he jokes, could 'put up with his deep fascination with Human history.")
Gear:
Custom Built 10 string 'Bird of Prey' that he carved, assembled, and painted by himself. It is designed to be his 'overall use' guitar to cover anything from the tones of the fast shredding of Megadeth and all the way down to the brooding tone of Crowbar and Eyehategod.
(Sorry for the cliche stuff... rp characters and what not.)
(And also... Sorry for calling you directly out, Nimtai and Leemo... you two are huge inspirations to me and my Turian fascination.)
