I miss the snow ❄
I never thought I’d actually want snow… I grew up in Siberia, in a place where snow falls in November and stays until May. Now I live somewhere where snow falls and lasts for at most a month a year; the rest of the time it’s mud and rain.
All the dogs come back from walks dirty, clothes are soaked through, and there’s no winter mood at all — no beautiful, sparkling forests.
I drew Ruta, who because of her mark can ignite, and let’s imagine she can’t control it and her body temperature is always much higher than that of other characters. So if she ended up in a snowy location, the snow around her would always melt.
Not canon, but it sounds cool.
It can be adapted to canon by saying that in this artwork Ruta is nervous, which makes her heat up, and that’s why the snow is melting.
In short — freedom for interpretation.
