Irastimil (Eye-ras-tim-ill)
- God of lunar cycles, father of mist, Patron of the frost on ferns, guiding light in the night and patriarch of the northern forests
- Classification: Elder god, Primal tier
- Quietly spoken, “background-esque” deity
- Rarely seen by the mass population but slightly more often seen by individual seekers, especially on pilgrimage
- Creator/curator of the colossal taiga forests that span almost half of the northern continent
- Unknown pantheon connections, old records lost/unrecovered
- Assumed that he is in the same grouping as some of the foundational gods who helped shape the planet prior to the Godbreak
- Truth of it all being that he was once a direct avatar of one of the celestial moons that orbits Keridia, specifically the one closest that glows the brightest at night
- Assisted in the original stabilization of the planet prior to the Godbreak
- Eventually became his own self after direct physical connections to the lunar body faded via the Godbreak, though can still call upon some of its power directly (not all, other “fragments” bear other aspects of the lunar bodies)
- Memory of his true past are lost to him as they are to any other original deific manifestations from that time period
Figured its time to start showing everyone more of the worldbuilding I'm doing for my personal setting, The Keridian Realms. Starting with one of its gods!
