Author's note: I wrote this fanfic based a little on my own situation. The thing is, I'm nearing the end of my master's degree, but, like Kaimy in my story, I forgot about my thesis, and now I'm trying to force myself to write it and talk to my professor about it. Yes, I also misjudged my abilities a little.

I had a little trouble seeing Riz as a professor, but since this is Alternate Beastars...sure! Good to see he's helping people in this universe, instead of...well... :D
And yes, the thesis was a big deal in my MS program. In my case, though, I wrote it as I conducted my research--it was a living document until I edited the heck out of it.

Ah, so is this in the future were Riz is a college professor as his career? I see what you mean by alternate universe, so this means Riz is a more gentle and kind bear than his canon universe self.
Imagine walking into a classroom to find your super hot, studly teacher showing off his massive chest muscles behind a shirt that barely fits and is hanging on for dear life!
I was half-expecting Riz to reach out and grab Kamiya's hand while they were speaking while sitting down. That would be a bold move and a juicy plot device. But it seems Riz is going to take this a lot slower than that.
But why would Riz of all people be afraid of Kamiya? A large brown bear afraid of a Tibetan Fox? Is Riz afraid he might fall in love with him? Not an actual fear of violence or anything.
