Now this was a fun one. Drew this a decade ago during my traditional art years. The story behind this shows Twilight inadvertently becoming a random adventurer's mount. Players would do Extreme Trials in FFXIV (ARR Trials) to obtain different elemental mounts depending on the boss they were fighting. I was part of a lot of those runs at the time and snagged a few myself. Players would then showcase them all over the maps. I decided upon an idea during MLP:FIM's peak years to draw up a situation involving Twilight.
