Featuring my characters: Ernest, the Atlantic locomotive and Jacques, the Pacific locomotive.
One day, Ernest heard a rumor that the Pacific locomotives were created because the Atlantics were not considered powerful enough. Since then, he has always been afraid of losing his job, being replaced by a Pacific locomotive and ending up in the scrap. This is the reason why Ernest is not really happy to see Jacques, however, he doesn't really hate him (from a personality standpoint), he hates what he is. Jacques, on the other hand, is very calm and he doesn't go looking for trouble with Ernest. And with Christmas approaching, neither of them wants to get into senseless arguments.
