Sorry, gang--no comics until January 5, and this is why. Over the past weekend we had 14 lambs born. I think I was up for 24 hours straight from Friday night to Sunday morning, fielding deliveries.
These three are a set of triplets born to my husband's favorite ewe, Pepper. (Actually, he's Pepper's favorite human. She follows him around asking for back scratches.) He named them Monarch, Dainty, and Admiral, after types of butterflies.
We still have six ewes left to lamb. Hopefully they won't do so in the forecasted deep freeze next weekend.

Precious babies! <3
I hope everything goes well, even if they lamb during the deep freeze, and I hope all ewes and lambs turn out to be healthy by the end of it.
I would say to make time for yourself to relax, but I know how busy and unpredictable baby season can be, especially on a farm, so just make sure to take a quick moment to destress when you can, even if it's just a few minutes for a cup of tea or something.
Best of luck with everything!
