Yeah I think I've had Krita crash maybe ONCE since starting to use it. GIMP would crash sometimes multiple times a night. There's some stuff i prefer in GIMP over Krita and sometimes still use it for specific things but yeah Krita is vastly superior in a majority of ways especially now that I've had some time spent with it now
When i switched to Linux I was hoping to get 2.8.20 on it like I had on Windows, it was slightly glitchy but I was used to it. Unfortunately there's not really a way at all to "downgrade" that on Linux (methods i found basically said it was easier to install an older Distro Image that came with an old GIMP and dual-boot...)
I was hoping 3.0 would be better than the mess of 2.10 but it didn't seem to be at all. So many weird "quirks" with how some tools worked, frequent crashes, I was just done with messing with it by then.
