A distinct hissing noise seemed to overtake the sound of the city The hiss got bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and was accompanied by loud, heavy stomps that shook the ground rhythmically.
“Interessssssssting…” boomed the source of the hiss.
The totally maxed-out Arbok examined her surroundings, her tiny, minuscule surroundings, as she lumbered down the street, swaying her hips without a care in the world, bashing buildings out of her way and passively making the street wider for herself to walk through.
The surprised tiny folk below her booked it down the street to try and get away as the super-sized snake stomped in their direction, glaring right down at them with her piercing red eyes, indicating that she had something in mind involving them. Whatever it was, none of them wanted any part of it…
… But it’s not like they had a choice, especially when Sekhmet simply bend down, and with another sudden…
“HSSS!!”
She effortlessly lashed out her long, forked tongue and snatched up one of the tinies. Her tongue strong yet flexible, she lifted the squealing citizen up to her face, still glaring with her piercing red eyes, only close up this time, further spooking the tiny morsel as they begged her not to eat them.
“Hello fere…” Sekhmet said teasingly, her voice and breath blasting the small person in the face, though her speech was somewhat distorted by her talking with her tongue sticking out. She couldn’t help but note the feeling of the little folk in contact with her tongue, and softly squeezed him, her tongue’s surfacing rubbing up against him. “Mmmm~” She would hear the tiny person whimper as she did. After feeling him with her tongue for a bit, she spoke again. “You fasssste kinda good. I could jussss eat you right up~” The little guy whimpered again more.
Sekhmet wasn’t actually going to eat him, at least, not yet… or maybe she would. She wasn’t sure. She'd decide on that later, but she wasn’t about to let her catch know what she was thinking. She’d rather let him wonder what she had in store while hanging at the mercy of her tongue.
For now, though, she continued to hold the guy in her tongue as she lumbered further into the city, effectively talking him for a ride in a front row seat.
As she relished in the impression she was leaving on the city folk, she thought to herself. ‘Dynamaxing is so fun. I see why Laguna wanted me to start training for it. It more than makes up for not being able to Mega Evolve.’
I had to draw at least one more snake before the year of the snake is over, so I figured I might as well give some attention to Sekhmet. I’m in a snake mood anyway, especially after having seen a certain movie that just came out. You know the one!
I realize I really love snakes…
… and I really hate that Arbok is so neglected. The poor thing has gotten nothing outside of a minor attack-stat buff in Gen VI. Honestly, they couldn’t give Arbok a Mega Evolution, what with Legends ZA and all?
Enjoy!
