A fantastic bit of art of my rogue, Charivirlym - though she keeps her full name a close-kept secret. Instead, she always goes by the nickname, Chari.
An absolutely gorgeous depiction of a kobold done up by a wonderfully chaotic friend, RadioactiveRaichu. Though she always downplays her art, she can do some amazing things!
Chari was cursed with the sin of ambition. Initially, that came as a want to help her draconic mistress, a dragon by the name of Velus. She was one of many kobolds in the service to this dragon, before she grew to long for a greater power to help her mistress. It started in small ways, taking little things from the hoard to help further her abilities to steal more. It all felt natural, and easy - until her mistress caught her. Recognizing a growing draconic lust for gold, treasure, and power that only a true dragon could hold, Chari was cast out and cursed to remember her transgressions.
Should she ever attempt to steal from a dragon again, or should anyone utter her full name, the curse of the dragon would bind her up in spectral chains, awaiting judgment for her crimes. Forlorn without her family, and lost without the support network she'd known, Chari turned to a life of adventuring. She did her best to fight back the urges that saw her getting cast out and play down her draconic hunger - but she always seemed to lose control when somethinh particularly valuable showed up, or something powerfully magical her dragon might have longed for.
A part of her still longs for that power, though much of her tries to turn her talents towards making up for what she took from others. At least, in her own way - as a mischievous and clever kobold, she can be as much an agent of chaos as her dragon could be. When presented with a dragon, however, she can't help but feel compelled to serve, attend, and please them to the best of her abilities.
She bears a constant reminder of her old service - her eyes were marked with a brilliant teal blue, so she would always remember her past when she looked in the mirror, even if she could hide it from everyone else.
... Really a small reflection of myself, as I have quite the fondness of dragons, in my own way.
