Rorka Busts (Older Character Updates)
The other half of the older updates, this time with Rorka rather than Anton. I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of how she turned out here, even if it was for practice, though thankfully I at least have a lot of other art of her to show the lass in a better light.
As I do want to aim to eventually give all of my older character a visual and story update, I'm confused as to where I want to edit Rorka. Her external ears might make her design a little less confusing, but I like having then as they give her a nice silhouette, as her head was supposed to be shaped a bit like a moth, given her and her clanmates' nicknames are of different bugs. Maybe the frills can be arched differently or connect to her body a bit differently while still keeping their shape? I do like how the top one does connect to her brow though, so, I'm not sure. Any suggestions, and I'll be glad to try to consider or practice later down the line.
I think I never mentioned in in all her prior art, but from an out of character perspective, a lot of my D&D characters come from medium I'm interested in while I'm making them. Voekoko was inspired by Sylvando from Dragon Quest 11, Anton a bit more blatantly with Antonblast, and Rorka here from Bug Fables, though granted I mainly watched someone play through the game. Going forward, I would like to find a way to combine her bug motifs with her cooking motifs, though thankfully, she doesn't cook with actual bugs!
Lastly, and speaking of Kobolds and I guess more as a life update: I ended up going to a comic con yesterday and the Saturday as of posting this! Not going to lie, I was kind of scared since I suck at being in crowds, but I'm so happy I went. I got this really cute kobold plush from Kel Made It and love it so much. I wish I would've gotten or taken more pictures, but that felt way too advanced for my social skills. Gotta level up and pick some socialization stats next time, ha ha.

Thank you! If you don't count Renaissance Faires, its my first time going to a convention, and I'm glad I felt confident enough to drive and hang around there for a few hours (even if it was mainly clinging to my friend until he forced me to be the leader with walking around). Looking forward to hopefully attending another one in February.
