Since it's harder now to easily read back Vilous lore, what I managed to read I interpret Rain Silves that: she started with good intentions, but childhood traumas started to unravel with the more power she obtained. With yes-men at her side, it was too easy to overpower those who caused all this to spiral to begin with. I don't think she was ever fully sane tbh. I'd like to think she always had hatred and violence in her heart, and at one point, she didn't want to or couldn't control it anymore. Then hell broke loose
