The admins do go overboard. I used to post secondlife images up until they deleted the ones I was newly posting. Yet I see new ones posted all the time that aren't removed. Leads me to think they have their favorites or are taking bribes of one form or another. Anyway, it's an awesome picture. It's cute without being adult rated material.

I was an admin on a website where everyone was ban happy and didnt ban when needed. They made assumptions and just did it because they "thought it was right".
How do they expect to function in a real job? Most do not approve of mistakes.

I'll do what I can to poke about on this.

If you want his name I'll straight up give you it, but theres no reason this picture should have been deleted.

All the chibis in the world were upsetted last night.

I see the history of admin actions on your account; I already sent him a note to contact me.

I want to hear his reasoning before saying anything. At least, more in depth than the note he sent you.

The notes you guys send are vague, you dont even get to see the picture after its gone and most of us dont even correlate the pictures name with the actual pictures(.jpg) name

Usually we just quote the rules - if I spend time to explain why each image is being removed specifically, it takes 5 minutes to answer a ticket; 12 tickets an hour, about 48 tickets a day.

That's not enough and presumes it's only one submission per ticket, or that teach ticket takes only 5 minutes. :\

i think you guys should. I mean I did admining in another site where some of us only did problem tickets and we had to write specifically what rule the violated, what they can do to do dispute etc. Could get over 70 a day.

I mean just quoting rules is equivalent to getting a blank ticket on your car. When I was given a ticket they let me know the penal code, why I got the ticket and what my options were to dispute or accept it.
If you want keep people happy on this site you have to give them reasons as its closure. I learned it helps and yes it does take time but if you wanna keep users you have to be willing to sacrifice. And yes I know you dont get paid and this is volunteer work, but well ya did volunteer. -shrugs-

Im not dissing you on your job as I did say you are doing well -points to top sentence- Just a suggestion to make things run smoother. Maybe you guys should get more admins, remove those who are power hungry/ignorant to obvious guidelines.

It's a matter of, I'd love to spend more time on each ticket. But doing so means I can't address other tickets. And we've got a lot.

We did bring on some new admin staff, so tickets should be going down now. Once we them them to a more manageable level, we should be able to have the freedom to spend more time on each ticket.

In this case - eh, I can't talk about it. But it was neither ignorant nor power hungry. :\

I do IT support with a ticket based system. Yeah time versus quality. Totally gotcha there, especial when overrun with tickets.
