I swear, the planets must be aligned and some cosmic force is out to get me. I was trying to finish up Mr Dragon on the left there and I completely ran out of red thread. At least I got his eye blanks cut out and fixed up his beard!

This was actually taken a few days ago before I had all the go-aheads for the various foam bases you see here. I like how the came out, so I wanted to share! I still have some minor tweaking to do on them here and there, everyone needs their moving jaws adjusted, their eyeholes cut out and the birds definitely need their beaks to be built up. After that, it's tape-time! After mummifying  Chioxin for his full-body DTD this will be a cake walk :D

I'm really excited for all that fur to arrive so I can get to the interesting parts! I mostly have the tail/hand patterns drafted but eh, cardstock cutouts aren't very fun on their own.
