I look forward to handing this off to an artist who actually knows what they're doing and seeing Vaelis brought to life properly, rather than through my questionable ability.

Revisiting my species, the Ialea, first created back in '04 and seeing a revitalization for multiple reasons. Species have no mouth, with Vaelis depicted as having one through an engraving made to their semi-flexible ulani plates as an aesthetic choice.

I have plenty written up about them, including methods of communication, sacred rituals, core anatomical terms, communication terminology, cultural lexicon, etc., though I know that doesn't interest the few individuals who give my art a gander.
