The Vulpera race in WoW was the sole reason I checked the game out. And as a Guild Wars 1 and 2 veteran I have to admit: It was enjoyable. The classes feel unique in their mechanics, gameplay-wise it was good (oldschool good) and the graphics for a game this old sometimes surprisingly eye-catching. The fetch quests, however, are annoying and not my cup of tea. Anyway, this here is Vukki, my Vulpera Monk. Took me about 1 week to unlock the Vulpera race as a completely newcommer, and about another week to unlock the heritage armor. She's without doubt my favorite character. The scene (background) is heavily inspired by the outskirts of Zuldazar/Nazmir, next to a swampy area. This was the first time the old graphics actually impressed me with the scarlet moon.

If I weren't so drawn to Guild Wars 2, I might still be playing WoW from time to time. It was quite enjoyable. A few things keep me away from it though, like the monthly subscription or the gear progression. It's hard to get used to it when Guild Wars 2 does these things completely different. I might jump back into WoW one day. But I will never be more than a filthy casual, checking out the game once in a while.
