She is perfected chaos. A being who is ever in pursuit of pleasure—of the body, mind, and spirit. She indulges beyond measure. Greed and gluttony given form, for she is fire. Nothing ever sates her hunger. Arrogance has been her crown, rewarded far too often. A god unworthy of ascension, yet ascended still. A calamity that births carnage with each step taken, and revels in it far too much.

I think describing Ascelin as a walking calamity is, incredibly, accurate lol. Destruction is sure to follow wherever she sets foot. It's like second nature to her, atp. I've gotten the majority of Ascelin's lore figured out, and man, it feels good to finally know wtf is going on with her aside from 'EVILLLL' (if you think of Mermaid Man's voice here, you're the goat lol). But yeah, nooo... She's actually like, terrible LOL. I'm super excited to finally get some pieces that can start telling her story a bit, but ofc, gotta have those glam shots though of her being her destructive self.
I think this is, easily, one of my favorite pieces of Ascelin. This pose in general is a guilty pleasure of mine because its suuuccchhh a typical 'look at how cool I am' shot, but damn does it deliver. I absolutely love how she looks in this style, and the subtle background of utter ruin is just perfect for our perfectly-friendly-and-not-scary-at-all local vampire dragon.
